Interface Design | Retail Activation | Personalised Product Matching

As part of a marketing campaign for Clinique, I designed the interactive game interface and machine skin used to guide customers in selecting their ideal Clinique iD custom blend. This in-store activation was launched across two retail outlets in Singapore, turning skincare discovery into an engaging and memorable brand experience.

Strategy & Purpose:

The campaign aimed to simplify the product selection process while showcasing Clinique’s focus on customisation and dermatological science. The interactive experience helped:

  • Educate customers on their ideal skincare combination

  • Increase in-store engagement and dwell time

  • Reinforce the brand’s clean, clinical, and customer-centric image

My Role:

  • Designed the full game interface and UI elements, aligning with Clinique’s global brand guidelines

  • Created the visual skin of the interactive machine using provided assets and customised layouts

  • Ensured the overall experience was intuitive, visually consistent, and brand-aligned

  • Collaborated with developers and retail teams to implement the interface across both locations

Campaign Outcome:

The activation successfully turned skincare discovery into a personalised, tech-enabled journey, allowing consumers to engage more meaningfully with the brand and its products.
